Methylcobalamin
Identity Methylcobalamin is one of two coenzyme forms of cobalamin (vitamin B₁₂), distinguished by a methyl group bound to the cobalt center of the corrin ring. It functions as the cofactor for methionine synthase, transferring a methyl group from 5-methyltetrahydrofolate to homocysteine.
